TIMBER KILN & HEAT TREATMENT
At Australian Hardwood Company we own and operate the first iDry Kiln in Australia, which is one of the best designed vacuum kilns globally by iDry.
Operating sustainably on solar and water only. Ensuring carbon neutral processing to minimise any impact on our environment.
Our in-house technique accelerates the wood drying time from months to weeks, without compromising the quality of the wood in the final product.
Our qualified kilning staff are experts in their field and educated by Australia’s leading registered training organisation.

TIMBER MILLING
Our indoor timber facility is managed by experience and certified staff to maximise the log timber milling production output.
Logs are collected and transported directly to our dedicated milling facility which contains multiple band saws manufactured in the USA for carbon neutral processing, operating off solar power and tank water. It is not recommended for logs to be milled in direct sunlight as cupping and checking can occur immediately after the timber has been milled.
Boards and slabs can be milled down to 10mm thickness and up to 1.5m wide.
Bandsaws are known to have a much cleaner and finer cut, than other chainsaw mills on the market. Therefore increasing quality of timber slabs and maximising production output from each log by approximately 25%.

TREE & STUMP REMOVAL
Our experience team work directly with qualified arborists and tree loppers to ensure your trees are felled in the most efficient and safest possible manner.
Equipment, machinery, and trucks are maintained to current OH&S and other legislative compliance standards.
We work directly with local government, insurance companies and community organisations as well as private sector to assist them in tree and stump removal.
Some of our major projects include the Mount Dandenong cleanup in 2021 and Belgrave storm damage in 2020.
We maintain the highest level of public liability insurance and contract works to $20 million per policy.
Tree and stump removal are quoted on a job-by-job basis to ensure the most accurate and affordable quotation is given to suit every project.
